Scalloping season seems to be off to a great start this year as we are hearing many locals as well as visitors having great success. The weather has been a hamper the last few days but hopefully it will clear up soon. Fishing has been better than you'd expect with all the scallopers in the water but Redfish and Trout bite has been pretty good in 5 foot or deeper water with this heat. Out going tide lately has really turned the bite on so make sure and consult your tide chart . The winner as of late for bait has been live pinfish so a trap or cast net is needed. Some swim baits have been pretty effective as well lately. Don't forget to get all your Scallop gear at Bluewater Outriggers and until next week. Happy Fishing !
