Redfish along the beaches have slowed down this week so that's a bummer. However, Trout bite continues to be good in the bay and along the Marina wall and Marina Jetty. Reports of a lot of Trout under the Highland View bridge have been good also. Live bait and soft baits both are taking fish. Like last week a lot of shorts but patience will reward keepers for dinner. Some Sheepshead are showing along the Marina wall and some of the markers in the bay. One would think that they would be showing up in the canal along the walls and pilings. Remember if your target is Sheeps, a strong shank small hook to prevent "bite throughs".
