The weather continues to plague our fishing here along the Forgotten Coast with heavy rains and cloudy water and at times high winds, it has been tough fishing in shore and off shore alike. And as many of you are now aware our Scallop season remains closed as of this writing due to an algae bloom. If you look hard and listen close there are still a few bright spots to hear about and this week it remains the Highland View bridge. Word is there are still some nice fish being taken at the bridge and the best fishing is from the East side. Live baits are still the bait of choice and we are hearing some nice Flounder are being taken. So hang in there anglers and keep at it. Be sure and monitor the FWC's web. site for more info. on the Scallop season for a possible opening day. Until next week, Happy Fishing !
