We are finally starting to see some clearer water after several weeks of near coffee colored water. The good news is it appears that the fishing has started to improve as well. From the reports we've been getting it sounds like the Highland View bridge has been the hot spot the last several days. We are hearing Flounder, Trout, and Redfish are being taken a plenty in that area. Most of the fish are being caught on live bait, shrimp and bull minnows. We've had reports of some really nice Redfish being caught. Flounder in other areas still seems to be the king right now and they continue to hit on bull minnows and soft grub baits. From the Mexico Beach pier and canal to the St Joe Marina and sea walls some nice Flounder are being caught. Don't forget to grab all your gear and bait at Bluewater Outriggers we have the goods.
Send me your fishing photos!
Until next week, Happy Fishing !
