BlueWater Outriggers Fishing Report 11-6-2024

Offshore: One of our local fisherman, Dave Mason says the big red snapper have been cooperating, he has been limiting out. The bigger ones have been caught free lining whole, dead cigar minnows ,but some nice ones are being caught off the bottom over structure with cut bait. The Bee Liners have been good also between 10 and 20 miles offshore.

Inshore: The skinny water bite has been really good on top water. First light is the best time or early evening. Throw topwater plugs such as Mirro Lures, Rapala Skitterwalk,or Zara spooks. Mid morning switch to a gold Johnson Minnow or a popping court with a soft plastic or live bait. Pompano on the beaches using fish bites have been the ticket.

Freshwater: The rivers have been running low and steady. Catfish have been great on trot, lines, bush hooks, or rod and reel. Cut bait or fresh shrimp are the way to go. Shellcrackers have been good on crickets and worms. Crappie are also good on minnows.

Stop in BlueWater Outrigger for all your live and frozen bait needs. Gun season is just around the corner so if you need guns, ammo or camping supplies we have them. Good luck and tight lines.
