BlueWater Outriggers Fishing Report 11-202024
Offshore: Capt Pete Barwick of Bounty Bay PSJ charters has been loading up on some big Red Snapper. Cut bait or live bait in about 80 feet of water over wrecks and reefs are a good start.
Inshore: This is one of my favorite times this year to fish, the water is cooler and the bulls are running. It's also a good time to catch your PB trout. A live pinfish or shrimp under a cork should do it . I've had a chance to fish the past few weeks with our local guides I can say that our area of Florida has some of the best in the state. They are a wealth of knowledge and will put you on some fish. Stop in and see us at BlueWater Outriggers for a good recommendation on your next trip. The Mangrove snapper bite has been good and we have had some reports of Sheephead starting to show up.
Freshwater: If you haven't been crappie fishing yet it's time to start with these fronts coming through things are starting to heat up. Live minnows should be included in your plan along with crappie jigs in different colors and sizes. Also, include Road runners and Berkley power bait crappie nibbles as well.
Closing: Gun season starts on November 23 so if you need any last-minute supplies camo, guns, ammo, footwear or clothing stop by before you head to the woods we can get you outfitted so until next week don't forget those lifejackets and lanyards. Good luck and tight lines.
