Forgotten Coast anglers continue to enjoy good fishing inshore and off shore alike.Trout and Redfish are being caught in St. Joe Bay in fair numbers and we are still seeing some very nice sized Trout being taken. Live shrimp and small pin fish fished on the flats are taking good fish. The South side of Black's Island in some of the deeper channels are producing good fish later in the day when the heat gets up. Vudu Zman and the old reliable Gulp baits are working well in the deeper channels. Off shore fishing continues to be great with plenty of nice Snapper being boated and some nice Grouper as well. Cigar minnows have been scarce for bait but Spanish Sardines, Boston Mack and Whole squid and squid strips will still take nice fish. If you take the time to pinfish trap or work a Sabiki rig on the buoys the large Blue Runners and Pin Fish are top bait for big Snapper. Until next week. Happy Fishing !
