We've had another fine week of fishing along the Forgotten Coast. Our regular targeted fish have been plentiful and hungry.
A fish we don't normally talk about here is Triple Tail and they have been on fire the last week or two with plenty of fish going 10 pounds and better. Most are being taken with live shrimp or a soft bait presented beyond the fish and then retrieved back in the path of the fish. Some people say he is a dumb fish because he'll stare motionless at a styrofoam dish floating in the water or any other floating debris. But boy oh boy he is some fine eating. So when your out on the water keep any eye out for floating debris, there may be a fine Triple Tail hanging out waiting to go to your dinner table.
Until next week. Happy Fishing !
