Hi folks, we have really turned the corner on fishing. I hope I can get it all in this report. We just heard this Sunday morning that Spanish Mackerel are running the sea wall at the St Joe Marina and plenty of fish are being taken. Use Mackerel Trees or Gotcha Plugs. Usually the best choice for the Gotcha is the silver body.
In Mexico Beach just west of the boat canal there have been some very nice Redfish and Black Drum taken along that stretch of beach. Live shrimp and fresh shrimp are taking fish. And get this, they are being caught on Pompano Rigs! Speaking of Pompano they have also started to turn on along the beaches from Mexico Beach to St. Joe Beach. FishBites in sand flea and pink shrimp are winners here. Frozen sand fleas will also do the job.
One last reminder next weekend the BIG BlueWater Tent Sale will take place April 4th, 5th, and 6th. Come join us for fun and awesome bargains. We'll have food, prizes and just some great fun. We hope to see you there.
We would love to hear from you and show your catch on our Facebook page.
