Trout and Redfish fishing have really been hot this last week in St Joe Bay. Even with the coffee colored water it has been really good. Live shrimp and soft baits have worked well in the flats and around the old marina jettie and the sea wall. There has been some Flounder hanging out near the sea wall as well. If you can net some Pin Fish, they really turned on the Trout this last week. Try to schedule outing to coincide with the falling tide, reports are bite has been best during this period.
Great news for off shore anglers as the the state and FWC has given us a fall Snapper season. The dates are as follows for recreational fishing in State and Federal waters. October 17th and 18th, 24th and 25th and October 21st and November 1st.
Until next week. Happy Fishing !
