BlueWater Outriggers Fishing Report 9-18-2024

OFFSHORE: The Red Snapper and Vermilion have continued to improve this past week Mangrove Snapper have also been good around structure. Live bait or cut bait are pretty much all you need. Don't forget Gag season has closed.

INSHORE: The Trout and Redfish are really starting to turn on with the drop in temperature. Try throwing top water in the morning or on overcast days, Whopper Ploppers and Chug bugs have been working well. If you're using swim bait, pink and white are always a good color to start with. Try topping it with Pro- cure scent. This stuff is a definite game changer.

FRESHWATER: Well, the water is finally starting to cool down, however the rivers are on the rise so keep an eye out for floating debris. Try fishing, lakes and ponds for Large mouth.     Closing: The BlueWater Outriggers Blowout Sale has been extended through September 24. There are still lots of great deals to be had. We also received a trailer load of deer corn for all you hunters. So until next week tight lines and don't forget to wear those lifejackets and lanyards.
