 BlueWater Outriggers Fishing Report 10-9-2024

Offshore: When the weather will allow you to get out, the fishing has been good. Capt Pete Barwick of Bounty Bay PSJ got on them again last weekend bringing home a cooler of Red Snapper. He says Boston Mackerel ticket in 80 feet of water is where you need to start.                        

Inshore: The redfish and trout never disappoint this time of year Topwater plugs or popping corks in 2-4 Feet of water will produce. If you're fishing from shore, try the Highland view bridge it has been red hot for flounder, trout and redfish, as well as some big black drum.    

Freshwater: We had a few reports of catfish starting to come in. They are being caught on bush, hooks and trot lines using cut bait. The water levels are finally starting to come down, but still keep an eye out for floating debris. Closing: We have a fresh shipment of deer corn in along with all your hunting needs. You guys be safe this week and don't forget those lanyards and lifejackets.
