Fishing has been up and down on the Forgotten Coast the last couple weeks. There have been sweet spots along but again not very
active in a lot of areas. Under the Highland View bridge continues to be a hot spot for Redfish, Black Drum and Sheepshead. A variety of
baits including live shrimp and several VuDu brand shrimps have been taking fish. We would think that with the little cold spells we've been having that the Trout would moved up into the streams and rivers but trout bite has been slow even in the Apalachicola River. Granted we have had many inches of rain the last couple weeks and this could have an effect on the bite. Stay at it anglers and let us know your progress. Until next week. Happy Fishing !
