This week we were honor to be a part of the Camo Dreams program helping kids with special needs, disabilities or illness fulfill their outdoor dreams. BlueWater Outriggers donated Rod, Reel, and fishing gear and helped Hunter Nixon fulfill his dream of going fishing.
We continued to struggle with brackish water this last week with continued rains off and on and fresh water run-off. We did get several good reports however of Redfish being taken in the St. Joe Bay and Flounder bite is staying pretty fair. Most fish right now are being taken with soft baits as live shrimp in our area are very small right now. Continue to work your soft baits like Gulp, Vudu, D.O.A. and Z-Man's as well as Saltwater Assassin. Beach fishing has slowed somewhat as well as even the gulf waters are brackish. Hang in there anglers, looks like the rain has slowed and we should have better water conditions in the short run. Keep us posted on your results and until next week, Happy Fishing !
