BlueWater Outriggers Fishing Report 8-29-2024

OFFSHORE: Red Snapper season is closed now until 1 September but keep in mind. The bite has been good from 70 to 200 feet of water on live and cut bait over high releaf structure, and hard bottom. Gag Grouper season opens September 1 through September 16. Captain Jason Williams of Chasin Dreams charters report that Beeliners and Triggerfish have been good in state waters from 80 to 100 feet . Black Sea bass are also being caught on Zman curly paddle tail.            

INSHORE: Scallop season continues to be good with limits still being harvested. Scallopers, stop in BlueWater Outriggers as we just got in the new Happy Pirate Bootee bags. Come see us they won't last long.Trout and Redfish have been good in the morning as well as night fishing. White Trout have been on fire in Indian Pass and Flounder have been good in East Bay.  

FRESHWATER : The bite has slowed down due to warm water, however, trot lines have been fair, using cut, mullet and crawfish for bait.                        

Closing: For all you deer hunters, we just received a shipment of Big and J Apple BB – 2 deer attractant. Duck hunters, we haven't forgotten you we now carry an assortment of duck decoys as well.  Until next week, don't forget those lifejackets and hook up those lanyards good luck and tight lines.
